your first door ding? I do... and boy howdy was I ticked.
Had just pulled into the garage with my teenage son in the passengers seat. I always told him to "watch the door". THis evening, though, I didn't - thinking he knew the routine by now. Next thing I know I hear BAM, and see a look of utter horror on my son's face. He had hit the handlebar on my daughter's bike (which wasn't where it was supposed to be). Dug a nice, deep 1/4" gouge just under the keyhole.
What really torqued me was that my own procrastination contributed to this. I had just completed building 2 storage sheds in the back of the house the week before and had been lazy about moving the bikes out there. Had I moved them the week before (which I planned on doing) this wouldn't have happened.
