Need Help Asap
Trying to put on new shift **** on my 97 6 speed and can't the the factory T pin to come out. I have pryed it with a flathead for 15 min and it aint budgin! ANY suggestions?

Did you pop the gear number plate at the top and remove the screw?

I just took the number plate out and now i am trying to pry the T pin underneathe it. Did I forget to do something?

get two medium flathead screwdrivers and put one under each side, gently pry on both sides at the same time. You also need to find something to put under the screwdriver blades to keep from scarring the shift ****

KBlank, thats what I ended up doing. It worked great! The new MGW Bullet shifter looks great too. If you guys are thinking of getting one, or anything else from the MGW site, GO FOR IT! I ordered mine on Monday a.m and got it today at 5. FAST shipping!
