Looking for a battery cover
Hey guys, I'm having some pieces from my engine bay painted and I need to get a battery cover similar to the one vetteshop has... This is a photo from their website. Anyone know where I can get an unpainted one from? Thanks!

I saw a write up on a DIY project (installing a batt. cover). Not sure if they used an unpainted one, but I'll look for it.
Not to over simplify, but you think one of those companies might be able to score one for you?

doubt a company will score one for him, unfortunately everyones out to make a buck.
CUlookin - the color of the set you posted is way different from what i just painted for you. is electron blue really supposed to be much different than LeMans Blue? i guess ill have to get the pieces out in the light, but inside... they look darker than the ones you posted.

Optima does offer a cover for the 78/34s - I think they come in Red, Blue or Yellow and are around $15. Might be an alternative

You could also check with Kewl at www.kewlauto.com. They sell primer only fuel rail and radiator covers and perhaps could hook you up with a battery cover also.

Mid America sells a battery den cover that covers the whole area. It's $50. I made my own for $10.

I got mine FOC from Greg (gst20psi). I believe that he can make them in any colour or even primed ones. Drop him a PM and ask. Tell him I sent you.
