Thanks in advance.

I like Vette Essentials myself. I have the steering wheel, e-brake and boot shifter and boot console door and gauge bezels super quality and Ken King is a great guy.

For something as minor as a shift boot and ebrake boot, redline goods is great quality and will save you a ton of cash. Dont forget to use the discount code. Here are my redline goods ebrake and shift boot.

If you check out the Redline post in the later pages, there's a picture of a oak interior with oak console (Vette Essentials) and black shifter boot and e-brake boot (Redline), both with beige thread. That's mine. Good quality, not quite as nice as Vette Essentials, but at least half price, and still pretty nice.

I've had the redline shift boot and the Vette Essentials shift boot and they don't compare in quality IMHO...but they also don't compare in price. I took the redline leather out and replaced with VE leather and will stay with VE.

It's the old conundrum...do you pay the extra money for the better quality or go for the product with the lower price....it's your call.

I have the two boots in the Redline. The quality wasn't BAD, but I wasn't IMPRESSED. I haven't seen VE's, so I don't know whether I'd be wow'ed by them or not. I can say this, for the price of the VE stuff, I'd better ****ing be wow'ed by them!!!! I'm satisfied with the Redline since it was pretty damn cheap, and a HELLUVALOT better than what was on there before!!

I am very happy with my VE stuff - yes it is expensive, but the quality is certainly there. I have not seen any of the Redline stuff, so it is hard for me to compare the two.

I have an Oak interior and my buddy has a black interior on his C6 we are both going with Vette Esentials interiors in the next few weeks - I already have a couple of pieces and they are top notch. But remember quality takes time and Ken takes his time but worth the wait.

Dont understand that??/ I have never ever had a problem. They dont stock much on the shelf that is the reason for CUSTOM and will make what you order.
I have used Vette Essentials many times and will continue to do so.
Quality is second to none

I have several pieces of VE gear. I have met Ken at his shop in Michigan and again at Carlisle. I would buy from Ken in a minute. Great stuff. I don't worry about price (happy I can say that).

Here is a third option........Caraveggio's of Toronto. I have both of John's boots and and headed up to his shop next week for interior and seats. I have seen nothing better in quality from anyone.

Care to elaborate? VE is one of, if not THE most highly respected vendor here on the Forum. I have spoken to Ken King a couple of times, and his company is first class all the way!

It's really bad form to say negative things about a vendor without backing up your comments - especially one that enjoys and has earned an outstanding reputation.

I also think that Ken is probably one of the best, if not the best guy to deal as far as vendors go. He spent a half an hour with me explaining everything and I didn't even purchase anything... I'm sure Redline is good too, but I'd go with VE in a heartbeat again!
