Hey guys.. I am a pretty active member here and bc someone gave me a carfax I was able to get my 1st vette. However, my girlfriend is looking at this car - 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT as a summer car before she returns from her surgery. was goin to possibly.. however all my friends over at the 350z boards are having a meet Saturday and im obligated to go.. I get to go and get jokes pulled on me as to why I got rid of my 350z for a vette.. and I get to get looks like Im too cool for them even though I love hangin out with them. Most of them have turbos though the new APS system runs mid 11s no internals and 1 guy has cams and pistons done hes goin to break 10s next time 
So my exhaust/intake c5 is no match for them at the current moment.. but hey its a vette so i would rather have it anyway even if it isn't as fast! We should def get together sometime for the summer man - I am always at the shore ( Seaside/Wildwood/OceanCity ) what exit are you off of the parkway? Im around 134

I'm off Ext 100....3 lights from the parkway on 33. Yea, your friends might be laughing now, but you know what they call an old Vette??? a classic....and you know what they call an old import?? a Pepsi can...haha. I'm only going to the Show to see the new monster ZO6

new Z06 is so nice.. I would love to own one but do not have the necessary funds a the current time. Is the new Ford GT500 there also, the Red one someone posted about?

yea...if you log on to the 2005 NYC international car show site, it will show you all the new and concept cars there. I don't have much faith in the Ford's. Way too many recalls...and that new Ford GT is a flop..that thing is falling apart. I do like the way the new Mustang looks...not as good as a C5 but looks good.

Yeah.. was actually thinking of getting the 03/04 Cobra as a track car but I joined svtperformance.com and read all the horror stories and all the crappy service Ford offers and I said No THANKS! Car is very fast though.. for $1500-2000 the car can run 11s.. but again its probably only good in a straight line!
