No it doesn't need immediate attention. I get that about twice per year. I just reset the code and wait for the next event. There are two sensors that trigger those codes. One is easy to replace, the other isn't (as I recall it requires the manifold to be removed.) I believe that 1416 is the hard one, of course.
Try checking the gas cap. I had a similar thing happen last year. I unscrewed the cap then put it back on and twisted it around for a full turn. Haven't had the light come on since.

That took care of mine too. Now I make sure to give it a couple extra twists when I gas up.
i asked that same ? in c5 tech like 3 days ago..... it's most likely that air check valve behind the intake... looks like a PITA to get at but not very expensive to fix......there was a procedure posted on how to go about fixing it... i can't figure how to post a link to it but itsthere in c5 tech maybe a page or 2 back.. look for the post code p1416..good luck...
My check engine light started to come on 6 mos ago. Sometimes it shuts off when fill up! I have received a 420 code, which the dealer tells me a bad bank in the cats. But I checked out my cats last week and they are not clogged. So I have no clue
