Air Filters??
Give me your opinion on the best value, most efficient bolt-on air filter for 2004 C5. Blackwing or Halltech or Granatelli or other? I've seen the Halltech Stinger on e-bay w/ airbridge. Do the others require an aftermarket airbridge to be most efficient and add most HP? Is the single element like the Blackwing and Halltech better than the dual cone type filters?

You're going to get a lot of opinions on this one. I have the Blackwing and like it, but the Halltech Stinger is a good choice too. A more expensive option is to go with the Vararam - requires more install time, but provides a nice gain.

I have had both the Blackwing and now the Vararam. If you are looking for ease of install and good performance you can't go wrong with the Blackwing.
If you are looking for the absolute best performance, bar none, then many swear by the Vararam.

I have the Halltech Stingers myself, good performance and sound but most racers will tell you Vararam is the way to go for maximum gains.

Blackwing here. Easy to install. Is it the best? Don't know about that but it does let it breathe a bit easier over stock.
