These? I never heard of them before. The description sounds good, but they appear to be uncoated, so count on the unswept areas rusting (including the diamond cuts and the slots).

Last year, I bought a set of them for my wife's Lincoln LS. However, I bought them directly from SP Performance. They offer you the options of drilled, slotted, diamond slashed, zinc coated, etc.

I got just the slots, as I'm concerned about a) cracking around the holes, and b) corrosion from road salt eating up the rotor, and I don't need the extra surface area around the holes rusting out.

So far, I'm happy with them. There is a little extra noise when braking, due to the slots, however I assume that all slotted rotors do this. At the time I installed the rotors, I also installed a set of Porterfield Racing brake pads. The Lincoln never had great brakes, however the pads and rotors completely changed that.

In all honesty, I'm sure that the pads made for the biggest change in the braking characteristics, however the rotors probably help also. Anyway, after living with the rotors for a year, I'm happy with them.

You get what you pay for, believe me. I have GM Durastop drilled/slotted rotors on my '04 vert and in 9,000 miles, the front rotors warped on me. I decided to replace them with Baer this week.

I under stand from reading everything i can find on this forum that there is a problem with there rotors as well and when they do warp it is hard to get them to stand behind there waranty as well so why pay big bucks for something that wont be any better than something that cost half as much just my 2 cents.

Baer warrantees against warpage...that's the big difference.
