No, not this year. It would need a lot of clean up work, it's a DD, in order to be show worthy. I was hoping to just park with all the other Forum members.

I have my sailboat on the trailer, so I guess I will have to use a long rope to draw that silver C5!! Since it will be hard to tie the rope to the control arms, do you think it will be easier to just throw an anchor onto the hood...it will probably hook right on the belts!

Thread Jack! - FWIW Norris is now called Next Level Performance. I guess Mike took on a partner, Geoff. Had them check out my car last week before I purchased it, been back a few times working out the new/used car kinks. Awesome service from all the guys at Next Level. Two thumbs up

Default Hail Storm

Hey guys,
I hope I can still make it Saturday. It's been awhile since I've seen everyone. But I may have to meet with insurance people. Today right after I got home from work there was a massive hail storm in avalon park (waterford lakes area). Beat the hell out of my corvette, I couldnt go outside I would have been knocked out. It cracked my windshield and put some nice paint chips in my roof. Luckily the fiberglass didnt obtain any 'dents' from the hail. So the next step is insurance and where to get it repaired.

Stu, Chris, and Brian who would you recommend around orlando for paint and windshield. Chris I know you got a nice ding in your glass in ocala national forest, did you ever get that repaired.

Thanks in advance, your sad buddy,
Max

That sucks. I was parked only a few miles away during the storm (near UCF) and didn't notice any hail. Good luck finding a paint shop. I haven't used one in the area.

That's an ATTABOY! The C5's were designed to be driven...if if can't be driven, how can it be enjoyed!! I'm happy I don't have to drive all the way to O'town just to tow you all the way to Ecklers!

Don't worry, since I will get there late, I'm not judging...but you can still give me the cash!

Five of the Cape Kennedy Corvette Club menbers will be supporting the City of Cocoa event until about 10:30...then we will be heading north to Ecklers. The beautimus white one will be in that group. Now you know who I am!

See 'ya Saturday!

That really does suck.
One place to check out would be Tim Burk. He does paint/repair work. I believe he does all of Stuz paint work. Drop Stu a PM and inquire about him.
