Default Harassment on forums

What would you guys do to get this problem solved being Harassed, I have sent PM's to all the MOD's ( waiting for their answer ).
But the thing is a certain member of this Forums goes into my Threads and questions them when I am trying to sell something. And I PM him and tell him if he goes into another of my Threads and questions anything I will hand it over to the MOD's. Than he clams I am making a threat, when I knew he was just trying to get his foot in to causing trouble like he has been for awhile with his questions and what not telling people not to buy my product that I am selling cause he thinks I am a fraud.I am just trying to get rid of a Hypertech for a friend thats it. But he continues to Harass me and than this last time turns me into the MOD's for what he say's, I was Spamming and got my threads locked ( which my definition of spamming is you have to own a business and sell a product to be a spammer). All I was doing was trying to clean my threads up a little and to keep it up to date. And I know if I don't do past the 2nd or 3rd page I don't believe other people will either, so I try to keep my thread up to date.
But if you go back and look at my threads who's name do you see on all of my threads at the end or some where in the threads questioning my posts with the things he says. IS THIS NOT HARASSMENT AND STOCKING. I know there making a new law for this kind of thing. What would you do?

This is his last quote he PM to me. Like he thinks what he's doing is a game or something.
Quote:
ROFLMAO!!!

You are spamming the boards with your MULTIPLE posts trying to sell the same thing. That is against the rules too you know. Would you like me to snitch you out?? LOL

Mods are very neutral and very nice people. I am sure they will notice what you are saying and will do something about it. There is never really problems on this forum because the Mods do such a great job at keeping things clean, fair, and just.. so give it time act polite and you'll get some help.

Frankly, without seeing the actual threads and the behavior you are describing, it's a little difficult to offer advice.

Maybe you should consider providing a link to the thread so that those of us who dont frequent the forum to which you refer.

The boss around here is Troy Roberts. Second in command is Jim Willis (savewave). If you are not getting satisfaction from the mods, then I would escalate the issue.

Of course, my suggestion is to provide either or both of these gentlemen with facts, no emotion or exageration.

Good luck with the outcome.

I just read all 4 of your 4 sale posts.

First off, the Parts For Sale section is for private parties to sell personal owned items. It's not a place for businesses to sell.

Looks to me that you are running a business - selling multiple items here... and to that you must be a forum supporting vendor and pay a monthly fee.

you have atempted to sell three Hypertechs here lately

The Mods are very reasonable here on the forum. If you PM'd them already, I'm sure they will be getting back to you.

The "certain" forum member is me and I think this guy needs to be watched when it comes to his sales. That is just my opinion. He is selling these Hypertechs for a third party, that just raises a red flag in opinion.

Since he decided to post a REPLY I sent him to one of his PM's, here is how it all started, with HIM:

(ME)
Don't threaten me, just do it.

(HIM)
Its not a threat I try to give you mercy . I could easily sent to MODs, about your harassment, or your questionings of my posts ( harassment ). But I tried to do it in a civil way. But you don't take kindly to such gratitude. Maybe you need to look up that word GGratitude. And be thankful the MODs put up with you when they could just lock you or me out anytime they want. Cause you don't run the show and you can't just do anything you want. Or in your case you think you can. I wouldn't test the waters.

So he is giving me "mercy", PLEASE!! Stop spamming the boards man, that's all.

Well, since this situation has been brought to the attention of the Forum Moderators in private and now in an open thread, let me address it step by step.

First for Alfcarguy: When you create a thread, let it run and do not create a second or third one on the same subject. That's proper procedure

This thread was unnecessary since you have reported your situation/problem to the Moderators. So, in the future, let us handle it

I locked the for sale threads since they had been discredited by another member, and I was going to set the issue straight so that you can create a new thread, without non interested or challenging members input.

Now for lvvette777 On behalf of myself and the rest of the CF family, thank you for looking out for us but, the manner in which you did it was inappropriate and unacceptable.

Members should not post a reply in a for sale thread, unless their comments are intended to help in promoting the sale, or if they are interested in the item and have questions.

Let's review your comments here: ...I think this guy needs to be watched when it comes to his sales. That is just my opinion. He is selling these Hypertechs for a third party, that just raises a red flag in opinion. What I see is "your opinion," and no facts to back it up I believe in "gut feelings," and intuition, but, they need substance before you make them public, such as: has this member burned you in a previous transaction ? has he burned another memebr that you're aware of? do you know if the equipment works or not, or is it a rip off, etc.????

Opinions just don't pass the test without some substantiating evidence.

I would hope that any member who is interested in this item, could ask the seller pertinant question regarding the item for sale to determine if they are interested in purchasing it. They can draw the conclusion if the seller is legitimate without your input. Therefore, if they buy it and get ripped off, then they will need to deal with the seller, and to notify others, based on fact that this member should not be trusted that is not your opinion to make.

IMHO, this is not spam but, just a member who didn't know that one thread running at a time is all he gets.

Again, I normally would handle this situation via PM or email, but, with this open thread and public issue, I felt others could learn from this incident and witness the position the forum takes in such matters.

Next time, keep in in PM or email where it belongs
