While driving in sunny southern california, I decided to lower my windows to enjoy the gorgeous day only to find out that my passenger side windows won't go down.
I tried the driver side and the passenger side buttons with no luck, I just hear a slight clicking sound.
Electrical Probs right?
I have been having this problem on and off for about a year ,started when warranty ran out of course. I used to be able to fix it by holding down the window bottom and slamming the door at the same time. Now I have to take the door panel off and tap on the power window motor with the end of a screw driver to make it start working again. Seems to be getting worse lately. Has anybody ever taken the motor out to see what is causing the problem ? I bet it is just a simple fix if you can just get to it.
check the fuses??? i've been having this problem and was waiting to bring into service. anyone able to let me know where i can find the fuse box and is it ok to go poking around?
I am currently having the same issue....you'll start getting other bugs too. I read a great post on how the chassis grounds on the C5 get corroded and start making the electrical system turn stupid....

There is a difference between having this problem on one window and having it on both. There are 2 fuse boxes, one inside and one in the engine compartment. The one inside is underneath the passengers foot rest - you will see 2 latches that can be opened so the footrest can be removed. The owners manual shows the fuse assignments for both.
Yes I do have warranty.
Will have the dreaded dealer take a look at it along with the wind noise I am getting from the driver side door (yes the window is up). I think the noise is due to weatherstripping.......

What does the forum think?
The wind noise could be a roof alignment issue, but the window itself is easy to align. Actually, both are easy to align. There are DIY write ups in the Tech Tips.
I had my weather stripping replaced, but ony after it was torn. Still had wind noise, adjusted the roof panel ... no more noise.
