I found an unconnected connector in the right side of my engine bay. I believe the connector is blue. I should post a pic to be more clear. Anyone have an idea of what this connector is used for?
Could be. I opened the hood and no light came on. I will post a pic in the morning. It is mounted next to the airbox to the left of the right head light.
If it's in front of the right cooling fan/radiator, it's for your under hood light. Some people unhook this connector for car shows. The other end of the connector should be directly below it.

Thank you for the advice! I have a 2000 FRC and it looks like I do not have the lighting package (TR9?), which includes the underhood light. Bummer. Thanks again.
I am betting it is the connector for the hood lamp. Many that show their car will unplug it to keep the light from coming on. Like JD said, a pick would help to be sure.
