You'll get a lot of looks. I haven't had anything bad. Just alot of people saying nice car. When I first got my 69' ragtop, I drove it to work and it was like 50 degrees out, but I didn't care. It was an awesome drive to work.

I get lots of looks with the top down. Thumbs up signs, kids like to point at the car. One guy, when I had the top down yesterday, just said "WOW!

With top down, only downfall is no privacy with your girlfriend or wife. Know what I mean?

You'll need to be out in the country to really enjoy top down cruising. It's a great experience. Don't get me wrong, anytime the weather is nice, it's top down time. But, driving in heavy traffic can be be a little overwhelming with noise and smells, though you do often get Hi-Fives and "Cool Ride" comments while waiting at Red Lights.

Many, many moons ago I got a rental Labaron vert one night when I got off the plane in Raleigh/Duram; it was about 30 degress and snowing lightly. This was the 1st vert I ever drove, so...

I turned up the heat and radio, put the top down, kept the windows up and proceeded to drive to my hotel singing off-key at the top of my lungs! I was grinning and waving at everyone I saw! And yep, I drew few stares.

Moral of the story, live life to the fullest 'cause when you die you're gonna be dead a long time!

Enjoy your vert man!

Don't have a Vert, but with the coupe's roof off, it is a great feeling.
