Default Headlight Assembly

Hello,

The problem I am having is, after replacing the gear in the headlight motor, I cannot get the headlight assembly "lined up" right when trying to reinstall it. When I reinstall the assembly, reattach the headlight cover and close the headlight, the cover looks crooked. Once the lights are closed the passenger side (Which I haven't touched.) fits down into the opening perfect. The space/gap between the passenger headlight cover and the surrounding area is consistant the entire way around the cover.
The drivers side cover when closed looks like it is too far to the right (It just clears the right side opening by a hair.) and there is more room between the lower left part of the cover and the edge of the opening than there is on the lower right side of the cover.

I can't quite figure out what I am doing wrong and was hoping someone of superior intelligence can help.

Thanks!
Gene

I have read on here that if you re-loosen the cover screws including the 2 back ones, you can scootch the cover to where it needs to be....
