New wheels on the Vette
Got my Z06 motorsports mounted yesterday (finally) And thought I'd share some pictures and a few comments after driving on them.
Z06 Motorsports w/ Kumho Ecsta MX tires.
Front: 18x9.5 w/ 265/35-18
rear: 18x10.5 w/ 295/35-18s.
I can compair them to the stock Goodyears and Yokohama AVS Sport runflats in stock sizes, and the Kumhos 1000x better. I was taking turns much harder than I ever have before and the tires didn't make a sound, It looks like I'm going to have to wait until I can get out on the track to find their limits. I was a little worried about the Kumhos because of a few negative comments made about them, but I can't say enough great things about them here.

Between track days and the autobahn, I've given up on making my paint look great. I've got chips all over the place and worse, I spent several hours with a clay bar yesterday and this morning trying to get everything clean, but it just wasn't working.
The good news is that I've got a good excuse for a new paint job when I get back to the states. (Nov 2006). I'm thinking of going with Victory Red and having the GS stripes painted on.
