HUD Problem?
2004 with HUD. With Tank completely filled HUD displays a maximum of 4 and sometimes 5 Blocks as the amount of gasoline available. I am fairly certain that there are 8 blocks that can be displayed. Regular gasoline gauge measures accurately so I think that I have a problem with the HUD or am I missing something.
Anyone else had any experience with this problem and what has to be done? Visit to your friendly chevy dealer, etc.

I find it funny that it doesn't work yet the analog gauge does. There's been numerous problems with sending units making gauges going quirky but never heard it acting that way on the HUD.

I haven't heard of this before. If it's under warranty I'd take it in. But if it's not I wouldn't want to buy a cluster just for that. I'd change the display to oil temp. My .02

Never heard of this happening. Time to get the HUD checked out if the analog guage works fine.
