That's the C5 to C1 conversion..... I saw one a couple of years ago and it looked fairly decent.

Yep, it's a conversion kit that was sold for the C5. Somewhat expensive to to the best of my memory. Don't remember who the manufacurer was.

Although I can appreciate the work that went into it...on an intellectual level...it strikes me as a new Thunderbird knock off. Not really diggin this one.

Default It's a CORVETTE...whaddya think it is!!!

No offense but you must not get out much

Those have been around awhile and posted here many times. The orginal concept was put together by Magna Steyr Engineering of Ontario, Canada and Advanced Automotive Technologies in Michigan thought so much of it that they bought the rights to produce the "Commerative Edition" Corvette.

I have seen these at various car shows and they do attract a lot of attention . Most people seem to just want to know what it is. I think there is one based on the 62 body style as well.

Go back thru the Corvette history to the original 1953 and you'll see the basis. Not identical but most all of the styling cues of the 1953 are replicated.

What a waste of a good C5. Thanks for the pics of the Z06.

There was a segment of the Corvette community that was disapointed that GM did not do somthing more "retro" for the 50th Aniv. edition. This was one response.

If you had a totaled out C5 that might be a good option!
