Although I can appreciate the work that went into it...on an intellectual level...it strikes me as a new Thunderbird knock off. Not really diggin this one.

I have seen these at various car shows and they do attract a lot of attention . Most people seem to just want to know what it is. I think there is one based on the 62 body style as well.

Go back thru the Corvette history to the original 1953 and you'll see the basis. Not identical but most all of the styling cues of the 1953 are replicated.
There was a segment of the Corvette community that was disapointed that GM did not do somthing more "retro" for the 50th Aniv. edition. This was one response.
