Just a question, why can't you place the catch can in the line between the elbow on the passenger valve cover and the fitting on the higher fitting on the throttle body? You would think that there was more oil vapor from this direct line that is always open. Did I make that clear? If hooking up the suggested way is the following correct? Foam protected line to top of can, side fitting to the throttle body. Is the PVC the piece directly to the throttle body, or is the PVC valve located on the valve cover on the driver side?
Disregard previous thread. I connected the AMW catch can as follows; took the 3/8 line that is foam protected and runs across the valve covers and connected it to the top of the AMW. I left the PCV valve in the stock position as the vacuum source and connected the side nipple to the PCV valve and the throttle body. Anyone see any problems with the connections this way?

I installed a GReddy catch can some time ago before the AMW was available. I located it remotely from the engine in the front, next to the radiator shroud where the cool air aids in the precipitation of oil from vapor.
I also did the Z06 PCV valley cover mod not too long ago to minimize oil injested through the PCV system.
Here's how much oil the catch can caught in 800 miles of driving.
The two black hoses lead to my catch can.
I mounted mine in exactly the same place you did Ed, except I have the AMW. I got an additional mounting bracket from AMW and used 3M exterior double sided tape to mount the brackets to the frame rail. The double sided tape works really well as long as you use two brackets to hold the can.
