Awesome Experience Today!!!!
I GOT NEW SHOES!!!!
..I MEAN TIRES.
Went to the Firestone dealer in Fort Worth, and they totally took care of me! I told them I found the FireHawks on TireRack.com for $140 a piece for the front's. They matched the price and didnt even say a word!
The service manager did a walk around with me, and he used four guys to get the car on the alignment rack to make sure it didnt drag.
The guy putting on the tires was very careful and even asked if I wanted the weights on the inside of the wheel.
They were awesome!!
I got the front two tires with road hazard and tax for $370. I didnt get the rears just yet because they have a little left on them, but I will definately go back to them to get them.
Driving Impressions:
Awesome! These tires are great! They dont hunt on an uneven road like the "BadYears" did. They are quiet and they look good too.
I went with the factory size up front. 265-40-17 (stock Z06), but I think I should have gone with the 275's since the 265's look a little narrow for my taste.
I really like how the Firestones have a lip on them to keep the wheel from getting scratched if you rub against a curb.
If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I highly recomend this Firestone dealer

Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval's here is the link.
Love these tires but I would go with the 275-40-17's in the front. The 265's look a little narrow for my taste.
