Default [just installed] Sequential Tail light kit - YOWZA !!!!

After another mermbers post, I went to purchase the same exact tail-light sequencing device.

I called the forum vendor that sells it, but was told they are out-of-stock (damn, I'm getting tired of hearing that from many of the vendors). Seems they never run out of T-Shirts and jewelry

Anyways, I found the device mfgrs web site and ordered it direct; part number "STS-2C5PW" . Got it the VERY NEXT DAY via priority mail (they are located in my state)... and it was for less. That's important for cheap-bastiches like me

Super easy to install; plug-n-play with no wire cutting - nor splicing. Had the entire job done in less than 20 minutes. Probably one of the coolest cosmetic mods I have ever done. It's just this side of ricey - but I really like it.

I will probably buy the center stop-light pulsator. That's more a safety oriented device I would think.

Thanks to the post originator (from about a week ago) that put me on to this neat device

.

HEy MIke.....I did the blink-blink last year. I have euros (red/amber) and love it. Definitely get the flasher for the third brake light. It is an excellent safety feature and an equally cool look.

Cool! I did the same mod last fall! Now here is a test for you. Turn the key to acc and turn on your flashers.....see if any codes are thrown.

My 3rd brake pulser went out so I need to figure out if I m gooing to go with the LEDs and no seq or keep the seq and lose the LED's

MM, you've killin me with than line.

Welcome to the club. Did this mod awhile back, I opted for the 3rd brake light pulser at the same time but found that it was a splice job so I set it aside. On Grumpy's recommendation I ordered another unit that is plug and play from LAPD. They currently have it available in their Tax sale. Check it out in the parts section.

How much was this mod? I haven't seen many with this particular mod, any way to see how it really looks or works?

there was a video posted on here a few weeks ago. Maybe that person can link to it again.

You can find the product by doing a Google on part number

Does the sequencing work only when you hit the turnsignals and not when you hit the brakes?

It does sequence once when you hit the brakes, but that can be eliminated with a little more complicated wiring modification.
