where's Evil Twin?? You're gunna have to remove them, get the rust off, and paint the hats.... That's at least the cheapest way

Hi newyiddy20 -

I use Amzoil MP (Metal Protectant).

It comes in a spray like WD-40, but it lasts a long time and keeps the rust from forming.

Take off your wheels, spray some MP into a rag, and then wipe it around on the non-swept areas of the rotor.

As a precaution, I always use alcohol to wipe the swept area of the rotors before replacing the wheels.

This keeps my rotors looking factory fresh with little fuss.

BTW - It's also great on guns....

best regards -

Ecklers has some aluminum rotor hats that just slip on over the lugs and look pretty good. The red ones are on sale now. The Amzoil MP sounds like a solution too. Or you can just do a careful tape job and paint the hats yourself. Lots of choices on how to deal with the rust issue.
