Firestone Firehawk RFT Tires?
Greetings fellow Vetters!
I need new rear tires. I want to know who is running the best deal on the RFT 18"s? TireRack is a bit steep...so do not recommend them.
Anybody get a better deal out there? If so where to order?

Tire Rack is usually one of the lowest price dealers that you can find. You can try some of the forum vendors like Xtreme Motorsports or Mid-America.

I just bought tires from the Tire Rack. I got Kuhmos, but looked at the Firestones. I searched the net and looked locally, and was not able to find anyone with better pricing than the Tire Rack. That doesn't mean that there are not some vendors out there with better prices, but I couldn't find them. Additionally, their service was great and the tires arrived very quickly. So don't discount the customer service factor. Good luck with your search. Zuti

I was going to replace my goodyears with the firehawk runflats, but I thought they were discontinued for the bridgestone potenza runflats. So instead my firestone dealer ordered me the michlen zp. I personally cannot tell alot of difference, but I drive my vette like my mom would.

I've been able to match Tire Rack's prices a few times when you
shipping, mounting, balance and installation at local Firestone
or other tire sellers in my area.
Plus you get the extra customer support because you bought them
locally. The differences are small either way.
But I did recently buy a set of snow tires mounted on a nice set of
wheels for my Mazda3 from TR. They were delivered in 3 days in the
middle of winter and I got a great price. Again, because it was a
complete set, I did better at TR.
Shop around and go with numbers.
