I am about to have a new set of Corsa Exhaust installed. A friend said I should look into having the car's computer adjusted or tuned up to accomadate the new pipes. He was saying they sell these hand held units that plug into your cars computer and you can re-program it...I'm sorry if this sounds all mumbo-jumbo, but I'm not sure what he was talking about ...does this sound like something your familiar with?

There are a couple of hand held tuners - Predator by Diablo comes immediately to mind. You can tune your car with one, set shift points and pressure if you have an A4, change the temp the fans come on, and do some other stuff - none of which you need to do with an exhaust system.....trying to sell you a little maybe?
If you're expecting anything more than much better sound and appearance from a Cat-back system, you'll be disappointed.
Regardless of the claims that some of the manufacturers make, there really isn't much gain in the HP department.......
