Default #'s first time at the track

I went to the 1/8 mile track for the first time and wanted to see what people thought of my times. I only did two runs and felt that with one or two more runs i would have done better. My hp is 323.92 and torque is 328.50 to the rear wheel.

.905
2.116
5.741
8.626 1/8th mile
84.49 mph

what do you guys think? any info on improving my time.

Times look pretty good but you need to get that sixty foot closer to 2.0. I'm guessing you would run about a 13.3 at 110-mph.
Your speed is better than your time. Getting your launch down will fix this.

Good job for your first time though. It's kind of hard not to get all jittery at the line when you're new.

Not bad times, especially since you have not done this before. I agree, work on your launch and get the 60' time down and you'll do much better.

i think some of that is where you're located .. respectable numbers.

and consider this for my time of 13.3 @ 109 (not my best)

I ran

'60 - 2.3
'330 - 5.994
1/8 - 8.845
mph - 87.27
1000 - 11.274
1/4 - 13.306
mph - 109.59

(best of) 13.01 @ 111 mph w/ a '60 of 2.2

so i'd imagine you've got high/mid 13's right now.
get that launch and you've got low 13's ..

If you can improve your 60 ft time your 1/8 and 1/4 times will drop significantly, but accomplishing much better 60ft times with stock tires is not an easy task. Best 60ft times on streets that I have seen people do consitantly is about 2.0 though some run 1.96s and a very few under 1.95.

A pair of DRs would really help....
