The best part of owning a Vett is DRIVING your Vett . Better yet, driving sideways

Most C5's (maybe 97's and Pace Cars in 20-30 years) are never going to become collector cars due to the large number sold so do not kid yourself and think it's going to appreciate buy letting it sit in your garage. Drive it, drive it again, and then drive some more

Welcome to the club and don't fight the urge, you know you want to do it, so just buck up and cough up the mod dough ... it will hurt a little a first but then it will become second nature. It's like an addiction.

First of all

The most important thing you need to know is to "Wave" at any/all corvette owners no matter what model they drive. Even if they don't wave back!

Secondly, you could not have found a better place on this planet than to be here on this forum. Everyone here is very caring, very knowledegable, and very creative. Got a question; just ask!

Yes, it can and will get to your check book....remember, you only live once brutha!

Enjoy it while ya got it and welcome aboard.

Welcome to the Forum, and I agree with you sentiments word for word, but most of all several thousand dollars later; Magnaflow exhaust, Hypertech then LS1 Edit, Z06 sway bars, Z06 shocks then Bilstein Sports, cross drilled rotors, performance friction pads, 01 5 spokes then Specterwerkes Monolites, K&N Filter then Blackwing, CF intake and fuel rail covers, Vette Essentials brake and shift boots, 3.42 rear end, and so much more that I can't remember or do not want to remember.
