uneven tread wear?
i gave a co-worker a ride yesterday at work. we only went about 10 miles, but the rears seem to have lost a couple hundred miles of tread life? wierd? 
.... now he owes me a ride in his ~70 corranet r/t.... sorry i may have butchered the year and spelling.

I know exactly what you mean - I have a set (on the rear)that seems to wear very quickly. I've checked pressures and they are fine - the wear is even so it can't be that. I don't know what causes it

Actually, sounds like you did a few pedal to the metal launches while you were out.
