C5 for a G35 Coupe? Why?

One of my neighbors just traded in his c5 for a g35 coupe. I was baffled that he did that. What's your thoughts guys and gals?

I see we are from the same neck of the woods and I see an aweful lot of those G35s around here. Grubbs Infiniti seems to be on the bumper of them, so maybe they are giving them away cheaply. That said, my wife likes them and we test drove a 6sp coupe a few months back. Nice car and great for a commuter, but definately not something to replace a Vette.

I saw a G35 when I was skiing that had a "boycott France" bumper sticker on it.

They must not have known that Renault (France) owns about 40% of Nissan.
