Default c5 for a g35 coupe? why?

Why would someone trade in their c5 for a g35 coupe?

Only if I needed a back seat. The G35 is a nice car.

The G35 is a great 2+2 sports car, and with all the options it still doesn't top $40,000. If you simply must have a backseat, you could make a lot of worse choices.

We seriously considered one before we bought our C6. If my wife had liked it, and I hadn't been advised by my accountant to purchase a car worth more than $50,000, I would have done it. I'm glad I have my C6, but it's also $15,000 more than the G35 coupe.

Its a great car, that's why

I was at the dealership ready to sign papers on one in 2002. Performance is intense and the build quality puts the C5 to shame. I went with a new C5 coupe and do not regret the decision, but I still love that infiniti.

The G35 coupe is a great looking car, but in SoCal there are so many of them...It's like the next VW...A nice C5 is more "exclusive"

Another chick car if u ask me im not here to start nothing but spending 35K or so for a car that has 280hp on the old ones or 298hp on the rear ones. The engine has no potential i know this because my roomate has a 350Z unless u spend 10K on some twin turbos. I saw a supercharged one at the track doing 13.7@107mph not impressive at all. I think if im gonna spend that kinda money i better get at least more than 320HP, looks only get u so far again in my opinion the G35, 350Z RX-8 honda S2000 all fall in the catagory of girl cars all looks and not much go specially for the price quote.

G35 coupe is a better looking car IMO. It also seems to be bit more of a classy ride. Not everyone buys a car based strictly on performance.

The G35, especially the coupe, it a very nice car. Build quality is excellent and the performance is decent. If I ever decide to get rid of the Vette, you can bet the infinity will be right up there on the top of the list.

You might be surprised about the pesky nature of the G35 coupe.

A couple of weeks ago, a bunch of us Vette guys ran our cars out at Texas Motor Speedway, on both the high bank oval and a 1 mile infield road course. Granted, they were no match for sheer horsepower on the big track, it gave me a little new found respect for it.

I love the G35 coupe and if I hadn't wanted a Vette since I was a small boy, I would have gotten the G35. I think they are different cars. I could use a backseat now and then, and Infiniti quality would be nice also. But I love my Vette!

I think it looks like you had a great day and a bunch of fun. In the hands of a competent driver, the G35 could be a force to be reckoned with.

When my wife was talking about getting a new car, I thought she might want to take a look at it but she decided she wanted a small SUV and we bought a Lexus RX330.
