i just took my ae vert out of the garage for the first time this year for my inspection and when 1 came back and pulled into the garage i scrathed my damn mirror. a nail on the garage door trim scrathed it i forgot to fold the mirror in. i have to get it painted so im asking what the best way to go about this? should i remove the mirror to get painted or leave it on the car? im sick about it but i know it could have been worse. does anyone know the paint code for ae red? thanx brad

take the car to the shop, let them match the color with the paint chip cards.
Then if you car take the mirror off and bring it to them, I have my customers do that so they are not with out a car and it takes les space in the booth.

The paint code is on the glove box door along with the options installed on your car.
I'd suggest letting a pro do the touch up work to make sure it matches. I've heard the hardest colors to match are silver and white.

I have the shorties...i like 'em..
fwiw..oc mike ha his hood,spoiler and canards profesionally painted and blended ae red,wound up repainting entire car because of match issue!
