I've had my Z06 for about 2 weeks now. It's awesome!! But yesterday, i got my windows tinted(that will be another thread). And since they were just tinted, i'm not supposed to roll down the window for a couple days. So today i used the climate control, and it was not working like it should. I had the temp all the way down to 60 degrees, and turned the passenger temp **** down all the way as well. The air was blowing cold on the passenger side, but hot on my side. And that was with the A/C on. I tried turning the **** up and then down again. And still ice cold on the passenger side, hot on the driver. What could it be? Or what am i doing wrong?
You didn't mention what year your ZO6 is, I had a 2000 coupe that had the same problem. turned out the battery was going bad. Sounds crazy ..after they checked it and found it was leaking, dealer cleaned up under battery tray, installed new battery and never had problem again. Seems the battery and it's condition has a lot to do with many seemingly unrelated problems. I would ask other members for their $.02

It's an 02 with 12k miles. But the passenger side blows ice cold, while the driver side blows hot. Even with both ***** on cold and a/c button on.

Could be a problem with the gates for the HVAC not opening correctly. Check the battery first, if that does not turn out to be it, may be time for a trip to the dealer.
