Default My thumbs will never be

the same again. A few beers and I decided it was time to remove my bsm's. Had all four off in 1.5hrs. ALRIGHT, i thought 3hrs later,
no more beer, two very sore thumbs, and it is finished! Glad I did it, looks better to me. For all of you that have done it, how many ways did you think you finally had the "secret roll" of the most stubborn tape on this planet? I had it going good vertically, then that stopped working good, went to horizontal roll, that lasted about 15", went to diagonal, back to all the others. Dont know if I just wanted to get done so I could see it or get done so my thumbs would stop hurting.

After being in the bodyshop business for over 20 years, I'll let you know that your thumbs will be even more sore tomorrow.

Ya know, they make rubber eraser wheels that go on the end of a cordless drill, right?

That was one of the best, and cheapest, mods you can do. I bet its a 100% improvement on the looks of your car, I know removing mine was.

Congrats on getting them off. Got a feeling that your thumbs will be sore for a few days.

You can always tell someone who has never engaged in manual labor; even small jobs make the sore is funny places..

Just kidding, next time think about it before prolonged use of a single digit leaves you incapacitated.

Now on to the next mod.

Has anyone tried frequently spraying the tape with Goo-be-gone gel or other similar adhesive remover during the removal process?
