... we're fighting a losing battle with pollen in this part of the country right now.
I had great intentions of washing and waxing the Vette this morning. There's blue skies, temps in the 60's, heading to the 70's. I washed, and seed pods and pollen coated the car before I could get it half dried. Seed pods flew into every crevice available. Yellow dust everywhere ... makes you wonder what your lungs look like. It's no wonder I sneeze and hack all the time!
I decided not to even attempt to wax. It's a losing battle right now.
You guys in the northern climes will have the same problem in a couple of weeks.
Same here in Louisiana.....................There's nothing like washing your car and putting it to bed, then waking up the next morning and having a nice sheet of yellow covering your clean car. Well, at leat the "love bugs" aren't out yet!
You're right on the money. We've only got a couple more weeks of sun without pollen. We'll then have it on and off for weeks to come with the various trees spreading their wings so to speak.
Had a wonderful 3 hours yeaterday getting the caked pine dust off of a 37 foot motorhome. Also serviced the generator with plugs, filters and a new fill of oil. Those ONAN Generators are alright. However, the pine dust is an annual pain.
We went through all that about three weeks ago. First the pine trees then everything else. Thankfully it's gone for the year. Next up we have love bugs. I'll take pollen over those SOB's anyday.

It must suck to have so many flowers. We just got rid of the white stuff. You ain't gettin any sympathy from me.
My nose already feels the pollen starting to arrive but the vette is relatively pollen free so far. I've found the best thing to do is just to zaino it before the pollen strikes and just use a california duster when it really starts coating everything. It should only last about a month.
No pollen in Massachusetts yet. When it does come, I really cannot tell on the yellow paint but if you leave the windows open, it is all over the place. Thankfully, I have Alegra available. Worst part right now is washing the yellow car, the bugs flock to it.
It's snowing , the roads are crappy , pollen all over the place , it's raining , smashed bugs all over my car , too many leaves on the road , oh crap it's snowing again . So we get one or two days of ideal driving conditions then a bird poops on your car , we can't win .
