Changing tire brands is not a mod; changing tire size is. 2. A steering wheel decal is not a mod. A replacement steering wheel from Vette Essentials is. 3. Lowering on factory bolts is not a mod. Lowering with longer bolts, cut bushings, and a bump steer kit is.
I have California air in my tires, versus the Kentucky air that came from the factory. Is that a mod?
How is changing from the OEM stock runflats to non-runflats not count as a mod?
You're right - I forgot about that one.
BTW guys, this was a legitimate question intended to promote a friendly discussion. No one is dictating anything to anyone. I can see that I failed miserably.

BW1-
If you would have mentioned this in your original post the natives would have been a little more friendly I suppose. Some of them do have thin skin you know, not me of course.
A mod is anything that you do to your car that you tell your wife it costs 1/4 of what it really costs. The great news is that if you ask her the car handles much, much better, shifts better, sounds better, runs a whole lot faster, looks better with the new wheels all for about $1,000.
