Just bought a 2004 c5 coupe with 2500 miles on it. Love the car but notice that at speeds above 50 mph I hear wind noise - almost like my window is slightly open. Its evident from the passenger side as well. Not terrible by any means but more than I expected. Was wondering if this is considered normal for a c5 coupe? I previously owened a c4 and the top seemed quieter. However, tops on those models bolted in - which might explain it. Any input would be helpful.
It makes a moderate amount of noise. I also own a c-4, but I don't think the C-5 is any noisier. I am hoping someone will introduce a sound dampener like they make for the verts. In the meantime, I have gotten used to it, it is worth it to drive the C-5.
take a look at the right windshield wiper. . . then take a look at the left winshield wiper . . . notice the difference . . . that affects the airflow on the right side of the car . .
you can adjust the top . . . . making sure that it is being sealed as much as possible. . .
two adjustments . . . one is tilting the window in or out . . . adjust is behind tghe red reflector at the bottom of the door . . .
with that low number of miles it should be a warranty issue
you can also ajust the top and how it connects to the top . . . do a search here or on Goggle about ajusting the C5 Targa top . . .
Good luck
I had those issues but no longer bothers me . . . the GHL exhaust note drowns out the wind noise

Mine has some noise too. There is a tilt in adjustment that can be made to the window to make it sit firmer against the weatherstripping, but that still may not take all the noise out.
