I'm lucky because I can sit in my classroom and look across the driveway just outside my window and keep an eye on Red Racer all day long. I catch myself admiring that NXT shine, or those S/S inserts etc. etc.

Plus I get to push the lock button, illuminating the back-up lights, to startle the kids that get too close...

I wouldn't buy a car that wasn't a "look back". After almost 20 years with my 86 Z28 I still look back at it. There's nothing like driving a car that you're proud of.

...and I thought I was the only sick bastard.

And yes whoever's with me rolls their eyes too (they don't understand).

The best is coming back out of the store to the Vette - get a nice long look without cricking the neck.

I do it about half and half. I WANT to look everytime but I don't want to look like I'm stuck on my car. ;( Some people take that kind of stuff funny.
