but that's like buying a dog for breeding and cutting his b@lls off ..
it's a performance car, they eat up tires.
thats the best thing i have heard you say!! great way of saying it! i def. agree with you.
i lowered the car more about a week and a half ago, and WOW! handling was dramatically improved! was it because of the camber? probably! do i care?? nope! this is the way the car is supposed to feel!!

Brian, believe it or not, but on my passenger side of the car, they had to ADD negative camber to get it into spec. it was 0.0, which is way off according to factory specs.

Mine is a coupe, not a Z06 but...
I had (LF) -1.1* camber &
(RF) -.9* camber
both are supposed to be between -.1 and -.5
The total front toe was -.18* (should be between -.1* and .3*)
the total rear toe was .57* (should be between -.2* and .2*)
I pull my wheels every couple of months just to clean the insides and wheel wells (definently worth the effort!).
When I got new tires at 27K I went in for an alignment too, although the wear on the originals was pretty even.
I was surprised. The front was fairly close, but the rear was pretty far out. I didn't observe either drive or wear issues, but it does seem to track better now.
You may want to run about 2 lbs less air in the rear tires than in the front. In my case, there was more wear down the center of the rears... I now aim for 30 front and 28 rear (cold).
I noticed that my front tires showed a little wear on the indside edge. I went to the dealer and they did a 4 wheel aligment under warrenty. The front was out but the back was out also. I tried to find the paper to list exact deviations, but I can't find it. Mine is a 2003 6-sp that I bought new. I followed it down the line in Bowling Green and watched them do a 4 wheel aligment with all four wheels spinning.
