Warning Wheel Sensor Nuts Can Become Loose
TOOK THE VETTE OUT TONIGHT DROVE ABOUT 4 BLOCKS THE DIC COMES ON LOW TIRE PRESSURE RIGHT FRONT TIRE THE IT SAY'S TIRE IS FLAT WTF ! TURN AROUND GO HOME.CRAP MUST OF PICKED UP A NAIL NON RUN FLATS. GET HOME GOING TO PULL IN THE GARAGE NEED AIR TO GET BACK INTO GARAGE FIRE UP THE COMPRESSOR , GO TO TAKE VALVE CAP OFF AND SEE THE WHEEL SENSOR NUT IS LOOSE WTF ! TIGHTIN IT UP CHECK THE 3 OTHERS THERE ALL LOOSE . A YEAR AFTER HAVING THE WHEELS AND NEW TIRES ON ! SO CHECK THOSE WHEEL SENSOR NUTS PLEASE

Shop must not have torqued them down to the proper specs. Its certainly not something that I would think about checking all the time.

106 INCH POUNDS - about 9 foot pounds. DON'T over-tighten them. they are not that strong and can crack or strip.

they have been on the car over 1 year with no problems ? i tightened them with out a TQ wrench . i think i will put some blue locktite on them good idea !
