Default Air Bags

Does anybody know of any "dummy" bags that are basically the look of factory but internally have no air bag components. I recently bought a wrecked 99' and trying to stay within an alloted budget. My pref.is to not have any airbags at all. For personal and financial reasons. Thankyou for you help

Thats like having fake seatbelts.
Save up and get the real ones... Or, Make it a track only car. If you have a passenger in your vehicle and you get in an accident you will be "Personally" responsible.

Back to your question. I have never seen anything like your asking about.

For your own safety, get the real airbags.......

Search for "Mexican airbag" or "Mexican air bag". You may have to Google it.

If your not going to have actual airbags, the computer will keep announcing an airbag failure to you, The 'racers' solution is to use a 2 ohm, 5 watt resistor as the 'load' in place of the airbag detonation device. I have no airbag on the drivers side....Got a Momo steering wheel, and love it. However, if you plan on keeping the stock 3 point seatbelts, I would strongly suggest you buy and install airbags. The stock seatbelts are just not enough to hold you in place in a colision, but work OK in concert with the 'explosive inflatable restraint device'. Some states may not 'allow' you to remove or disable airbags if they are factory supplied as standard, like in the C5. ....So....Better check your local laws too
