engine cover

i wanted to buy a 1 peice engine cover for my 1998, but i am not sure which one...show me some pictures to help me out!!!

Wow!! Where did you get that? I don't think there's that much carbon fiber in a C5-R racing body!

...got it from GM Parts Direct dot com (Flow Chevrolet). West coast Corvette used to sell them also...don't know if there are any more of 'em around though.

The one by VetteDawg is very nice. I've seen it on a few cars - looks to be well made. Some of your forum vendors sells them - like West Coast Corvettes.

with shipping it was about 500 a couple of years ago. it's a thick, solid piece.

I really can't say that I monitor the water temp closely. I replaced the 198 degree thermostat with a 178 (I think it was 178) sometime before I got the cover.
My oil temp gets in the 170's.
