Default Race Weekend at TMS

Just got back from a good day at Texas Motor Speedway. Saw a pretty decent IROC race for a change instead of everyone following the leader. Going back tomorrow for the Busch and Sun. for the Nextel race. Will get to do a parade lap before the race Sun. with 20 other Vettes from our Cowtown Vettes club here in Ft. Worth. Should be fun except we'll only be doing 15-20 mph. Barely an idle! Sure would like to kick it in the *** out there, but they won't let us. Should have a great weekend.

Having run TWICE, I think you would enjoy it. A completely different perspective when the real boys play with their toys!

Take a look for yourself.

OR this crude lousy edit one

From the March Run at TMS - lousy edit so far...

~~
Last run was early in March... Next scheduled event is on MAY 5th.

Send an email to dawn@texasdrivingexperience.com if you want some information about the next "ROVAL" event. There were about 20-25 vettes out, a couple of rustangs, 4 or 5 G35's, 5 or 6 new C6's, and a couple of Vipers. (still working on getting that video up)

Two total hours on the track. Hard to beat the rush you feel, then you really can 'imagine' yourself in the seat of a 44 car field all running another 100 MPH faster than you did, sometimes 3 wide and inches from each other front to back.

I will be watching TV this weekend, with fond rememberances of each and every bump and hump on the track.

I thought that IROC race was one of the best I have seen in quite awhile. Enjoy your weekend at the races. Most of all enjoy the ride on the track in your VETTE......

Nice weekend you have planned. Too bad they won't let you open up the car on the track.
