Default SS Brake Pad Covers

Anyone have advise on these SS brake pad covers...good or bad.

what about a template so i can make my own pad covers.....eckles sells them for $129. I bet i could cut them out of alummium and then have them chromed for less them $129 and it would look better than the SS.

I have them on my C4, when I do the brakes on my C5 I will get them also, they do look good plus you can find them for less than 129.00, try VNM.

I have them and they really accent the red calipers. I haven't had any problems with mine.

I made mine out of stainless steel using the old pad as a template; they polished up like chrome but the fabrication took a while. For $130 I should have just bought them.

I got mine from VNM and theirs are thicker than some others. Which if to thin will bulge a bit. If you get them take the fiber pad off the back of the pads. My avatar shows mine.

I have them as well. They are very cool and unique and I really dont have any trouble keeping them clean myself. Sorry I dont have any good quality pics. I purchased them from forum member 2k1 Vette (Joe Mitchem) for $95 shipped. He is a real stand up guy and buys them at a discount for forum member at a local shop. I shipped them out on a monday and I received them on thursday. They we packaged well and were of great quality.

Hey....thanks for the props. I didnt want to really chime in on this thread since I'm not a vendor or anything. As you mentioned, I just have a connection with the manufacturer so I can get a good deal for you guys. The ones I get are the original concepts and are made from the best mirror-polished stainless steel available. If you get a set elsewhere, just be careful that they are not the cheap polished stainless, there is a BIG difference.

Here they are on my car. If you want some just let me know and I'll hook you up.
