Default Glass Top Sunshade??

I did a search first, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone make a shade of some kind for the glass roof panel? It's barely hitting 70 here. With sun shining, it's already hot in there. I saw a shade for the rear window. Anyone have it? How does it attach?

I've tried it, didn't like it. It didn't stay up but maybe you'll have better luck.

However, somebody makes one that clips on. I'll see if I can find it for you.

i have that static cling shade(s) in my C3 and LOVE it!
they have been on there for going on two years now...

the secrete to making it stay on is to first clean the glass really good with a 50/50 water/alcohol mix and then spray the static cling shade with water...
then "squeegie" it onto the glass with a plastic squeegie of something similar...
let it dry reall good before turning it over and reinstalling...
it will stay in place as if it were part of the top

i know this because i use static cling products in my business...

That's it. Thanks! Let me know if you find the clip on one. Sounds like it might be better for me. II'd rather have something I can readily remove.

just FYI...i bought it because i figured being static cling i would be able to remove it when not needed...
you CAN do that...
HOWEVER...i have never found the need to because you can see out of it almost as if it wasnt there at all...
although it shades the hot sun from toasting your head...
thats the beauty of it!

I ordered the clip in 1 from Mid America. It was a fiasco from the start. It wouldn't fit as it was too big. Then I had to decide to keep it and make it fit or pay to ship the thing back. I don't have the colored top and live in FL, so I needed something. I ended up having an auto upholstery company here trim it down so it would fit.
I didn't like the static cling concept but I wish I had tried it. With what I paid to get mine to fit, it's not coming out ever.
Good luck.

I just said the hell with it and bought me a solid top to go with the clear one. Now I have winter and summer tops.
