Saw this and am totally confused as to what it is. Where and when was this used?

Wow never seen that before. It's got the C5 badge molded in almost like factory. I don't understand the benifits of a set up like that.

It's an OEM setup. I believe that funky airbridge was either an experimental piece, or maybe a part used on some euro export-model cars.
