So Cal Mountain Run
Just wanted to share this with the C5 Gen crowd.....was a great time!!! 20 cars....17 C5's.....2 quick C4's....and a C6. Great people and lots of twisties for some "spirited" driving on a PERFECT SoCal Day. It just doesn't get much better than this!!! And yes.....the little guy is my son AND co-pilot!
I was in LA last weekend, and saw a bunch of Vettes (20+) heading west on I-10 between San Bernadino and LA last Sat afternoon...know anything about what that was all about? (not sure if that's near you or not).
One of my favorite drives. I work in the Hemet / Perris / Moreno Valley area and whenever I find out that I'm going to have to go to Idyllwild the next day, I leave the DD at home and load the 'vette with my tools and gear. It's a very fun drive up that hill.

Agghhh, dangit! Where'd you all go? Malibu or San Fernando mountains? Oh wait, Idlewide, huh? Hmmm... that seems kinda far awa. Oh well, maybe next time. Probably for the best as I'm still getting used to driving this beast. Still not quite sure where the front ends and also getting used to this somewhat clunky shifter (probably gonna do the C6 shifter upgrade).

Are there any events planned more in the LA area?
Keep an eye in the Pacific section of the forum and look for the SCMR's. There was talk of a run in the hills near Gorman (not sure where that is....norh LA maybe?) next time around.
Wow... I'm feeling like I missed a good time ...
Glad you guys fun! Thanks for sharing ...
Should have been there .... check out Pacific Forum for more pics!!
Also (you'll apprreciate this) ..... me and the lead car came screamning around a twistie and closed real fast on a CHP Blazer. He obviously didn't see us ..... must have been checking for road kill

You're probably right Howard He probably heard you ... thought about it ( giving chase) for a second and said forget it.
