Looks really easy but i dont i have to get the rear 3 feet off the ground to remove the stock exhaust? Any advice? Also do you think this system on a C5 will be louder then a 2002 stock M6 WS6? Thanks!
Unless you have a lift, getting the car high enough in the air to remove the stock exhaust can be tricky and unsafe. If you don't plan on keeping your stock exhaust, you can simply get a saws-all and cut it into sections and remove it that way, which means you don't have to jack your car so high.
I have removed the stock system by cutting it up, and installed both GHL Magnums and B&B Bullets in my own garage, using nothing more than a pair of Rhino ramps under the rear wheels.
If you decide to cut the stock system off, I would recommend getting some strong cutting blades. I went through several blades during the process, which is probably why I should stop shopping for quality tools at Walmart .
Yep...you gotta get it up there
It's a little hairy when you see it that high
I did mine without cutting, but I had everything loose then got out from under it to remove the stuff. Afetr you remove the stock you can lower back to jackstand height and be safe.

If you can find a lift do it! Had my OEM's off and the new Bullets on in just over and hour. Made it very easy.(did an oil change while I was at it. No. of tips should not change the loudness. The bullets sound great and have no resonance.
If you know where you can get access to a loading dock you can back it up to the edge and remove them that way. It helps if you get the sway bar out of the way. Good luck with it and post some pics once your done.
