Got Keyed

Good luck with the repair.
Man, if I caught somebody doing that to my car, I would end up in jail.
I was gonna drive the vette to school tomorrow, but after reading this thread, no way.
I'll take the 4runner.
Hope ya get it worked out ok.
Jon

Good luck with the repairs. That just sucks.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
A couple weeks ago I had the oil changed on the Vette and decided to stop at the mall on the way home. While I was there someone tried to break into it - again. That was the second time in 3 months. Both times there were several places on the driver's side where that black strip along the bottom of the window had been bend up. My brother looked at it and said someone had tried to use a "slim jim" on it. I keep nothing in the front worth taking - a couple hair clips/bands for when I drive with the top down... So not sure what they're after. I'm just glad they didn't decide to cut the top. My brother is the manager of a body shop so he can fix the scratches - the top would be a different story.
Not only that, this past year someone vandalized it 3 times while it was in the parking lot at work.
I work in a nice professional office building, and there are a lot of cars far more expensive than mine, (BMWs, Audis, Lexus, etc), in the lot. None of them have been touched. There was another Vette parked in the lot by mine the day mine was vandelized the second time - they didn't touch that one. So, it must just be me.
You know, the people that do this kind of thing are usually the ones that scream the loudest, and beat-up/shoot people for touching their stuff. JERKS!!!
I'm not sure what I'd do if I actually caught someone messing with it.. but I have a very good imagination!!
I want to install an alarm with a shock sensor - Will having an aftermarket alarm system installed on it cause problems with the fuel pump shutoff and whatever other anti-theft devices are on it from the factory?
