I was bringing my 03 vert home from Idaho to Arizona and pooped out in Beaver Utah (no comments) and paid $2.84 a gallon. Highest I ever paid...............and hopefully will at least for this year. Thank heavens the car avg 28.6 mpg. Great car.... ......absolutely great.

If you fill up the car everytime it gets to 3/4 full , the price doesn't seem as bad. It's the way you look at things that matters

I payed $2.23 for 93 Friday at Sams Club (not sure if they all use the same brand in their tanks, but the stuff here is GREAT), and was happy about it. Most places around here are around 20 cents more.

I'm just thankful that I can afford it still, as I'm sure there's alot of people that are starting to hurt.

It's settled at about 2.55 for 92 here in Tacoma WA.

I've started filling up when I get to about 1/2 tank.. not sure I could take the shock of spending almost $45.00 a tank

As for the the mpg - I had a Ford Focus rental (long story) for a couple days and it got only 24mpg on the freeway - the Vette gets at least 28mpg under the same conditions - more if I can do 70 or faster

Default Glad you are getting it so cheap.

I enjoy the vett,, and don't really look at the $$ when I fill up. Perhaps when it is $5/gal I will,, but until then..

In Southern Ontario here, premium gas is averaging 96.9 cents per litre CDN. Works out to about $4.39 per CDN gallon!! The 'vette gets around 28 - 30 mpg on the highway, pretty easlily, and I don't drive it a lot, but my STS gets less than 18 mpg on the average, and that's the one I drive a lot. I consider you guys lucky!
