A/C light stays on
I have A 2004 convertible. When the climate control is in auto mode the A/C light will not go off. When I push the A/C button it blinks and stays on. In Manual mode I can turn the A/C on and off. Is this the way it should be working?Ron

It's operating correctly. In "auto" the compressor is always available for cooling if necessary. The button will "blink" in defrost also, it's telling you you can't turn off the compressor in that mode.
