Pen & pad?
I see these things on eBay all the time for C5s, saying they supposedly came with the car. Well none came with mine, and nothing else I know of was missing. Was at least a pen supposed to come with the '04 C5?

I got a pen, pad and flashlight with both my '99 and '00. Came in the owners manual portfolio.

Bought my Vette used and the dealer ordered the leather portfolio and VHS tape a month later for me. The leather portfolio included the owner's manual, flashlight, pad of paper and pen. I don't know what the cost was, but I thought it was a nice gesture by the dealer

Bought mine used, so all that was left was the video and penlight in the leather case. I didn't discove rthe video for a few months, I bought the car in the winter and parked it, was looking through the back storage caompartments in the spring and there it was.

Bought a used 02. I would like to know if the tape was a combination of the vert and coupe, or were there different tapes for each model?
I still have the 02 Z06 tape I want to trade for the 02 vert tape.

OK, OK! So maybe '03 was the last year. I know now somebody with an '04 is gonna' tell me about his VHS tape, pen, and pad that came in the pouch. Prolly say it came with a Bose videocassette recorder in dash, too, to play the miserable thing.
Well I don't wanna' hear it!
