I had a similar run-in at the 'track' with a WRX with some aftermarket bolt-ons. I saw the blinging exhaust and the rear diff. Got him all three times, but he had a car full (3 passengers). I had to give him his props.

Off the line they are quick. They will stay with me better than a stock C5 does.

Autobahn has speed limits also. No stop lights and it wouldn't be a nice sunny 70 degree day in Germany. Probally this time of year, cloudy with light misty rain.

...No comment really, but corvettes were built to be driven fast ya know? Why would someone want a sports car with 350 hp, and not step on it once in awhile. I mean come on i've seen off duty cops going at it in their mustangs!

I left out one important piece of the story.

As we're waiting for the light to go green, the radio starts playing Motley Crew's "Dr. Feelgood". You know how that song starts with the loud guitars strumming, building up the tempo.

At this point, I look up at the transparent roof to the sky and simply whisper......."Thank you".

If not for the load exhaust I would probalby have hear him say............Now go my son and blow thy opponents doors off.

You are absolutely right my friend, corvettes were built to be driven fast. But there's a time and place for everything. On public streets is not the time or place. Too many people getting killed in street racing accidents, worse off it's those innocent people who had nothing to do with it getting killed or injured. Watching people die is no big deal for me, but watching idiots kill innocent people is another story. Happy motoring.

Even though you short-shifted 1st and 2nd gears, you must have been moving by the time you hit 5th gear! Those WRX's can be pesky little matchbox cars, but boy, they sure are ugly!!

I'm short shifting thinking this will be an easy kill.
WTF's up with that? If you're going to put someone down, make sure he stays down! Total annihilation or nothing.

Operator error. Now go hide somewhere in shame and think about what you did wrong.
